What to include
- A measurement looks wrong
- Tell us your device, browser, and what you measured against what. Include whether you had calibrated and what DPI the chip showed, since that one number usually explains it.
- Something is broken
- Which page, which browser and device, and what you were doing when it happened. A screenshot helps more than anything else.
- A tool you'd like to see
- If you looked for a measuring tool and could not find a decent one, that is exactly what we want to hear about.
- Advertising, press or licensing
- Get in touch with the details and we will come back to you.
Before you write
If a measurement is off, two things fix it almost every time: reset your browser zoom to 100% (Ctrl+0, or Cmd+0 on a Mac), then recalibrate with a bank card. Zoom silently rescales CSS pixels, and a calibration made on a different monitor will not apply to this one. The ruler and screen size checker both show your current calibration in the status chip, so you can see at a glance whether it is set.
